Kathmandu, Aug 19: Members of the Council of Ministers have signed a performance agreement with Prime Minister Balendra Shah for the major function and achievements to be made during the current fiscal year.<\/p>\n

The ministers signed the performance agreements with the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar today and exchanged copies of the agreements. The agreements are related to good governance, social justice and prosperity, shared the Prime Minister’s Press and Research Expert Deepa Dahal.<\/p>\n

Prime Minister Shah signed the performance agreements with Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle, Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal, Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, Home Minister Sudhan Gurung, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, and Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation Mahabir Pun.<\/p>\n

In addition, Minister for Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minorities and Social Security, Sita Badi, Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration, Pratibha Rawal, Minister for Health and Food Safety, Nisha Mehta, Minister for Education and Sports, Sasmit Pokharel, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Khadak Raj Poudel, Minister for Information and Communications, Dr Bikram Timilsina, Minister for Agriculture, Forest and Environment, Geeta Chaudhary and Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Gauri Kumari also signed performance agreements with the Prime Minister, according to the Prime Minister’s Office.<\/p>\n

Also today, Chief Secretary to the Government of Nepal, Govinda Bahadur Karki, also signed a performance agreement with Prime Minister Shah.<\/p>\n
