In the campaign, three persons were tested positive.<\/p>\n<p>The screening was conducted among 124 persons. The TB screening event was held at Chandani Mandan Health Post of Mandandeupur Municipality-10 on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Sputum samples were collected from 14 suspected people, which confirmed active tuberculosis in two men, according to the health section at local level. Similarly, total 121 persons underwent chest X-ray on Thursday at Jyamdi Health Post of Ward No 12. Through the test, a person was tested positive to tuberculosis.<\/p>\n<p>Chief of the municipal health section at local government, Dipak Ghimire, informed that the Municipality had launched the TB screening programme with the objective of reaching the community and identifying health problems.
