{"id":52762,"date":"2026-08-10T23:35:39","date_gmt":"2026-08-10T17:50:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=52762"},"modified":"2026-08-10T23:35:39","modified_gmt":"2026-08-10T17:50:39","slug":"seven-pt-deal-signed-between-govt-rabindra-kumars-family","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/seven-pt-deal-signed-between-govt-rabindra-kumars-family\/","title":{"rendered":"Seven-pt deal signed between govt., Rabindra Kumar&#8217;s family"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Kathmandu, Aug. 10: The government and the family of Rabindra Kumar Mehta, who died in police firing at Kaptangunj of Dewangunj Rural Municipality-3 in Sunsari district on 26 July, have reached a seven-point agreement today.<\/p>\n<p>As per the agreement signed between the parents of Mehta and Home Minister Sudan Gurung, the government will immediately initiate process to declare Rabindra Kumar Mehta a martyr.<br \/>\nLikewise, a fair and effective probe will be initiated to probe the incident that took place at Kepatangunj of Dewangunj Rural Municipality and legal action will be taken as per the laws against the perpetrators.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, legal status of Madrasa of Dewangunj-3 will be investigated immediately.<br \/>\nAs agreed, the government will take initiatives to provide job to a qualified member of the family of the deceased.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the final rites of the deceased will be performed after taking the mortal remains of Mehta to Dewangunj in a Nepal Army helicopter.<\/p>\n<p>The government will allocate budget in the current fiscal year to build a memorial park in an appropriate location in memory of the three youths who died in the police firings in the rural municipality.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu, Aug. 10: The government and the family of Rabindra Kumar Mehta, who died in police firing at Kaptangunj of Dewangunj Rural Municipality-3 in Sunsari district on 26 July, have reached a seven-point agreement today.
