Taking the floor, UML MP Kriparam Rana requested the government to clarify about Lipulek, Kalapani, and Limpiyadhura shown on Nepal&#8217;s map, as there have been various comments about them in recent days.<\/p>\n<p>MP Yubaraj Dulal of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) asked to have the earlier statement about land grabbing by the Prime Minister removed from the parliamentary records, showing respect for the Speaker&#8217;s wish to run the parliament in an organized, dignified, and rule-based manner.<br \/>\nDhruba Raj Rai of the Shram Sanskriti Party expressed his objection that the government did not respond to the questions they raised and that the Speaker also did not make it a point to draw the government&#8217;s attention to that end.<\/p>\n<p>Khushbu Oli of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party drew attention to the implementation of the agreement with the families of the deceased and injured in the recent incidents in Sunsari and Siraha.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, speaking during the &#8216;urgent time&#8217; in the meeting of the lower house of the Federal Parliament today parliamentarians emphasized on easing the supply of cooking gas.<br \/>\nThey have drawn the government&#8217;s attention to various issues like monsoon-related disasters, poor health services, road infrastructure, the inadequate supply of cooking gas, lack of social security, and the problems in the agricultural sector.<\/p>\n<p>The MPs voicing these issues were Indira Rana Magar, Prem Lal Chaudhary, Tika Sangraula, Badan Kumar Bhandari and Shahjan Khatun.<\/p>\n<p>Dhan Bahadur Budha urged the government to immediately push for high-level diplomatic efforts with the Chinese government to strengthen trade relations between Dolpa and China and for the trade fair that is supposed to be held this year.<\/p>\n<p>Sushil Khadka said that farmers have become worried because of the monkey menace and young people are forced to go abroad for jobs. Bishwaraj Pokharel emphasized that the government should take necessary steps to bring back the bodies of the Nepalis who lost their lives while climbing the Broad Peak in Pakistan as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Bhimakumari Budhamagar urged the government to implement effective plans and programs to reduce damage caused by landslides.<\/p>\n<p>Parbati BK emphasized that necessary laws should be made and effectively implemented to control psychological harassment occurring through social media.<\/p>\n<p>Sagar Bhusal stated that around 70 households in Kusma Municipality\u2013Gajedi area of Parbat district are at high risk due to floods and landslides, and many families have already been displaced. He urged the government to take immediate effective steps for landslide management.<br \/>\nKamal Subedi emphasized that road improvements, increased monitoring, and effective traffic management are necessary to reduce the increasing road accidents.<\/p>\n<p>Khagendra Karna urged the government to introduce the necessary policies and programmes to make the control and treatment of snakebite incidents more effective.<\/p>\n<p>Parasmani Gelal pointed out that due to floods in the Koshi River, river erosion is increasing in the Udayapur area and local residents are living in fear, urging the government to pay attention and adopt effective disaster preparedness and river control measures.<\/p>\n<p>Yashoda Kumari Baral mentioned that passengers and local residents in Karnali Province have been suffering due to floods and landslides, and she urged the government to implement effective plans for risk management.<\/p>\n<p>MPs Prem Bahadur Bayak, Kshitij Thebe, Thakur Singh Tharu, and Gajala Shamim Mikrani raised various contemporary issues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu, Aug 7: In the meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) today, the opposition party MPs drew the attention of the government and the Speaker to clarify the issues that have been raised in parliament for a long time.
