Back on May 29, the government had announced a 10 percent salary hike along with a 10 percent incentive allowance as part of the budget.<\/p>\n<p>The ministry has now communicated the details of the new salary scale in a letter sent to government agencies on Wednesday. Civil servants, members of the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, employees of the Health Service, Parliament Service, teachers in public schools, and employees at provincial and local levels (for pension purposes) will benefit from the new salary scale, which ranges from schedule one to eight.<\/p>\n<p>They will also receive a grade amount equivalent to one day&#8217;s salary and a 10% monthly incentive allowance based on the increased salary. As for the specifics, the starting salary for the Chief Secretary is set at Rs 84,932, while the gazetted special category will earn Rs 79,290, and the Additional Secretary will receive Rs 66,539 (for pension purposes).<\/p>\n<p>For first-class gazetted officers, the salary is fixed at Rs 62,466. Gazetted second-class officers will earn Rs 53,611, and third-class gazetted officers will receive Rs 48,058.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, non-gazetted first additional value pension is set at Rs 41,517, non-gazetted first-class officers will earn Rs 38,203, and non-gazetted second additional value pension is Rs 37,407.
