Thapa called for a new campaign within the Congress to enhance preparedness and response capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>NC Vice President Bishwa Prakash Sharma reflected on past shortcomings in disaster response, asserting the party&#8217;s commitment to becoming more active in social work related to disasters.<\/p>\n<p>He announced the initiation of disaster preparedness and response training, with plans to extend such programs nationwide.
