{"id":52150,"date":"2026-07-31T17:33:48","date_gmt":"2026-07-31T11:48:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=52150"},"modified":"2026-07-31T17:33:48","modified_gmt":"2026-07-31T11:48:48","slug":"government-consistently-effortful-for-safety-of-citizens-lives-and-social-harmony-pm-shah","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/government-consistently-effortful-for-safety-of-citizens-lives-and-social-harmony-pm-shah\/","title":{"rendered":"Government consistently effortful for safety of citizens&#8217; lives and social harmony: PM Shah"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Kathmandu, July 31: Prime Minister Balendra Shah said the government has been continuously and systematically working to address the sensitive situations arising in districts, including Sunsari, to ensure complete safety of citizens&#8217; lives and property, and to strengthen social harmony.<\/p>\n<p>In a discussion held today at the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers&#8217; office in Singha Durbar with MPs of the ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) representing various districts of Terai-Madhesh, Prime Minister Shah urged citizens not to be alarmed and to remain calm.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of the Government stated that all organs of the state mechanism have been deployed with high alert.<\/p>\n<p>Prime Minister Shah further noted that the government&#8217;s primary focus is to reach affected citizens, ensure their safety, and conduct a fair investigation of the incidents.<br \/>\nHighlighting that the government has adopted a multi-pronged strategy to keep peace and security tight and prevent the situation from worsening, he also mentioned that movement at border points has been tightened.<\/p>\n<p>Prime Minister Shah asked all MPs to confidently reach their respective constituencies to play the bridging role between the state and the citizens for the cause of broader social harmony.<\/p>\n<p>He reminded them that in difficult and emergency situations, visiting people at their homes and standing with them is the true responsibility of MPs.<\/p>\n<p>The MPs responded positively to Prime Minister Shah&#8217;s request and committed to immediately going to their respective constituencies.<\/p>\n<p>They also commented that the PM&#8217;s address to the nation on Thursday sent a positive message, trust, and confidence to people across the country, especially in the affected areas.<\/p>\n<p>The MPs suggested continuing a series of intensive dialogues with leaders of both sides, civil society, intellectuals, and representatives of local political parties to maintain long-term peace and brotherhood at the local level.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, they highlighted the need to continuously impart positive and unifying messages to maintain religious and social harmony in tense and surrounding areas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu, July 31: Prime Minister Balendra Shah said the government has been continuously and systematically working to address the sensitive situations arising in districts, including Sunsari, to ensure complete safety of citizens&#8217; lives and property, and to strengthen social harmony.
