The oath-taking ceremony was organized by the Office of the Province Chief in Birendranagar.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony was attended by Speaker of the Karnali Province, Nanda Gurung, former Chief Ministers Yamalal Kandel, Jivan Bahadur Shahi, and Raj Kumar Sharma, Deputy Speaker Yashoda Neupane, Chief Judge at Surkhet High Court, Hari Prasad Bhandari, members of the Province Assembly, Principal Secretary, Province Secretary and chiefs of security agencies.<\/p>\n<p>Shahi was appointed as the Chief Minister on Tuesday with the support of the CPN (UML).
