{"id":51341,"date":"2026-07-16T08:10:46","date_gmt":"2026-07-16T02:25:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=51341"},"modified":"2026-07-16T08:10:46","modified_gmt":"2026-07-16T02:25:46","slug":"vice-president-yadav-meets-qatari-amir-in-doha","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/vice-president-yadav-meets-qatari-amir-in-doha\/","title":{"rendered":"Vice President Yadav meets Qatari Amir in Doha"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Kathmandu, July 16: Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav on Wednesday had a courtesy meeting with Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Doha, Qatar.<br \/>\nAccording to the Office of the Vice President, the high-level meeting took place at the Lusail Palace in the city of Lusail, Qatar.<\/p>\n<p>Vice President Yadav is in Qatar to hand over a condolence letter on behalf of the Government of Nepal and Nepali citizens over the demise of former Amir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.<\/p>\n<p>On the occasion, Vice President Yadav extended his condolences to the Amir, the royal family, the Government of Qatar and the people of Qatar.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, Vice President Yadav handed over a condolence letter sent by President Ramchandra Paudel to Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim over the demise of former Amir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.<\/p>\n<p>Vice President Yadav was accompanied by senior officials from the Office of the Vice President, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Charge d&#8217;Affaires of the Nepali Embassy in Doha, and other officials.<\/p>\n<p>Vice President Yadav had left for Qatar on Tuesday to extend condolences on behalf of the Government of Nepal.
