Kathmandu, June 21 : <\/strong>Germany became one of the first teams to secure a place in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Round of 32 after defeating Ivory Coast 2-1 on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

At Toronto Stadium, substitute Deniz Undav emerged as the hero, scoring twice to overturn an early deficit and send Germany into the knockout stage.<\/p>\n

Ivory Coast took the lead in the 30th minute through Franck Kessi\u00e9 and looked set to claim a crucial result. However, Germany fought back strongly in the second half.<\/p>\n

Undav, who had come off the bench, leveled the score in the 68th minute just eight minutes after entering the match. As the game appeared headed for a draw, the striker struck again in the fourth minute of stoppage time, completing a dramatic comeback and securing all three points for Germany.<\/p>\n

With the victory, Germany tops Group E with six points from two matches and has officially booked its place in the Round of 32.
