{"id":48935,"date":"2026-06-04T22:04:20","date_gmt":"2026-06-04T16:19:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=48935"},"modified":"2026-06-04T22:04:20","modified_gmt":"2026-06-04T16:19:20","slug":"special-bulletin-on-heat-wave-call-for-alert-in-14-districts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/special-bulletin-on-heat-wave-call-for-alert-in-14-districts\/","title":{"rendered":"Special bulletin on heat wave: Call for alert in 14 districts"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Kathmandu, June 4: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology issuing a special bulletin on heat wave today urged to remain alert in some districts in the southern plan of the country.<\/p>\n<p>The Department&#8217;s Meteorological Forecast Division issued a special bulletin related to the heat wave at 4.00 pm today, calling for adopting alert measures in 14 districts and advisement to stay updated in another seven districts.<\/p>\n<p>Meteorologist Saroj Pudasaini informed that some plain areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpashchim provinces are likely to experience a maximum temperature of 38 degrees Celsius or higher in the next three days.<\/p>\n<p>Today the temperature measured 41 degrees in Bhairahawa and 40 degrees in Nepalgunj, he informed.<br \/>\nThe Division also indicated a moderate heat wave in some plain parts of Madhesh and Lumbini provinces during the next three days.<\/p>\n<p>The Department asked the general public to take precautions to stay safe from the heat.
