{"id":48555,"date":"2026-05-28T16:57:59","date_gmt":"2026-05-28T11:12:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=48555"},"modified":"2026-05-28T16:57:59","modified_gmt":"2026-05-28T11:12:59","slug":"govt-focused-in-development-investment-expansion-thru-intl-relations-minister-khanal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/govt-focused-in-development-investment-expansion-thru-intl-relations-minister-khanal\/","title":{"rendered":"Govt. focused in development, investment expansion thru int&#8217;l relations: Minister Khanal"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Kathmandu, May 28: Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shishir Khanal, has shared that the government is committed to effectively use the international relations for country&#8217;s development and promotion of economic prosperity and national welfare.<\/p>\n<p>At a programme organised by Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Tokha municipality-9 here today, Minister Khanal opined that Nepal&#8217;s international relations is based on diplomatic, economic, cultural and strategic relations with different countries and international organisations of the world.<\/p>\n<p>Stating that Nepal has been adopting independent, non-aligned and balanced foreign policy, he argued that Nepal&#8217;s foreign policy is based on Constitution of Nepal, Charter of the United Nations, Principles of Panchasheel, and values of Non-Aligned Movement.<\/p>\n<p>Nepal&#8217;s international relations is balanced, friendly and based on multilateral cooperation, the Foreign Minister underlined that the main objective of Nepal&#8217;s foreign policy is to protect national welfare, economic development, peace and strengthening international collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>He viewed, &#8220;I am actively involved to provide prompt services to citizens by ending dilly-dallying dallying taking place in the ministry. We have made passport distribution process very easy.
