The customs serves at the Nepal-China northern border point. The goods were being brought into Nepal in two containers while evading customs duties, according to the Office.<\/p>\n<p>The containers were caught while being ferried to Lomanthang by evading customs clearance as customs employees were away for a weekly off. Customs officials and security personnel, acting on a tip-off, intercepted the containers. One carton contains 220 vape sets, it is said.<\/p>\n<p>Police apprehended the drivers and launched further investigation, said District Police Office&#8217;s information officer and police inspector Santosh Basyal.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to this on December 25, e-cigarettes worth Rs 22 million was confiscated.
