Debutant Ishan Pandey (20 runs in 30 balls) closed the match with a four in the second last ball of the 37th over, with a massive 80 balls to spare.<\/p>\n<p>The lone wicket of the second innings was taken by Mohammad Mohsin of the USA.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Nepal restricted the USA to 195 runs in 50 overs after US chose to bat first upon winning the toss at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kritipur, The USA were all out for 195 runs in 43.3 overs.<br \/>\nOpener Smith Patel and Shehan Jayasuriya scored half-centuries, including 83 and 50 runs respectively. Milind Kumar contributed 28 runs while Harmit Singh added 14 runs to his team&#8217;s par total.<\/p>\n<p>For the bowling side, Dipendra Singh Airee took four wickets and Sompal Kami took two wickets.<\/p>\n<p>Sandeep Lamichhane and Gulshan Jha also took one wicket each to restrict the opposition in their home ground.<\/p>\n<p>Kushal Bhurtel was adjudged the player of the match today.<\/p>\n<p>Despite today&#8217;s win, Nepal continues to languish in the 7th position among eight countries in the WCL points table. The USA drop down to the second position following today&#8217;s loss. They have collected 36 points in 26 matches. Scotland leads the table with 38 points in 30 matches.
