{"id":47695,"date":"2026-05-14T12:58:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-14T07:13:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=47695"},"modified":"2026-05-14T12:58:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T07:13:09","slug":"hor-begins-deliberations-on-governments-policies-and-programmes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/hor-begins-deliberations-on-governments-policies-and-programmes\/","title":{"rendered":"HoR begins deliberations on government&#8217;s policies and programmes"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Kathmandu, May 14: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) that begun today resumed deliberations on the government\u2019s annual policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year 2083\/84 BS.<\/p>\n<p>At the meeting, Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal informed the House that 35 notices of amendment were received.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the HoR Members are putting forth their views on the amendment proposals.<br \/>\nPresident Ramchandra Paudel had tabled the government&#8217;s policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year at a joint meeting of the Federal Parliament on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>In today&#8217;s meeting, Speaker Aryal instructed the MPs not to use the unparliamentary language and consider parliamentary propriety while making statements.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I ask all MPs to be sensitive to the issues stated in Rule 21 (4) of the HoR Regulations,&#8221; he said, while ruling the MPs not to use indecent, defamatory and disrespectful words.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, Speaker Aryal directed the HoR Secretariat to omit some unparliamentary words used by MP Ganesh Parajuli that he used in his speech at the HoR meeting held on May 12.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu, May 14: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) that begun today resumed deliberations on the government\u2019s annual policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year 2083\/84 BS.
