{"id":46681,"date":"2026-04-27T15:59:55","date_gmt":"2026-04-27T10:14:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=46681"},"modified":"2026-04-27T15:59:55","modified_gmt":"2026-04-27T10:14:55","slug":"angdembe-elected-nc-parliamentary-party-leader-unopposed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/angdembe-elected-nc-parliamentary-party-leader-unopposed\/","title":{"rendered":"Angdembe Elected NC Parliamentary Party Leader Unopposed"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Kathmandu, April 27 : Bhishmaraj Angdembe has been elected unopposed as the parliamentary party leader of the Nepali Congress.<\/p>\n<p>The decision was endorsed at a meeting of the party\u2019s parliamentary office at Singha Durbar, party joint general secretary and election committee coordinator Prakash Rasaili Snehii said.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier on Monday, a Central Working Committee meeting held at the party\u2019s Sanepa headquarters had unanimously backed Angdembe\u2014an MP elected under the proportional representation system\u2014for the post, following a proposal by party president Gagan Kumar Thapa.<\/p>\n<p>The move came after three \u0928\u0947\u0924\u093e\u0913\u0902 had laid claim to the position.
