{"id":45738,"date":"2026-04-11T13:29:46","date_gmt":"2026-04-11T07:44:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=45738"},"modified":"2026-04-11T13:29:46","modified_gmt":"2026-04-11T07:44:46","slug":"hospital-service-reform-procedure-in-place","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/hospital-service-reform-procedure-in-place\/","title":{"rendered":"Hospital Service Reform Procedure in place"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Kathmandu, April 11: The Ministry of Health and Population has introduced the \u2018Hospital Service Reform Procedure 2082\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The procedure has been issued in accordance with the Public Health Service Act, 2075 to make hospital services people-friendly, accessible and effective, said the Ministry\u2019s Joint Spokesperson Dr Sameer Adhikari.<\/p>\n<p>According to the procedure, hospitals should provide quality services to every citizen conveniently. An integrated e-record system should be developed to manage patient treatment records and follow-up, laboratory reports should be provided 24 hours a day, and doctors should only recommend medicines available in the hospital\u2019s pharmacy.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, if a patient needs to be referred they should be sent to a government hospital with a refer slip.
