{"id":45143,"date":"2026-04-01T16:51:48","date_gmt":"2026-04-01T11:06:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=45143"},"modified":"2026-04-01T16:51:48","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T11:06:48","slug":"natta-president-thapaliya-appointed-board-director-of-uftaa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/natta-president-thapaliya-appointed-board-director-of-uftaa\/","title":{"rendered":"NATTA President Thapaliya appointed Board Director of UFTAA"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Kathmandu, April 1: President of the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA), Kumar Mani Thapaliya, has been appointed as a Board Director of the United Federation of Travel Agents&#8217; Associations (UFTAA), the umbrella organisation of travel agencies worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>NATTA President Thapliya was appointed as a board director of UFTAA during its annual general meeting presided over by UFTAA Chairperson Sunil Kumar.<br \/>\nNepal has participated in the event that will include the involvement of personalities from the world&#8217;s renowned travel and tourism sector.<\/p>\n<p>Along with Thapaliya, Chetin Gurchun (Turkey), Duminda Kuruwitachchi (Sri Lanka), Yosef Fatael (Israel) and Merizel Manotok (Philippines) have been appointed to the board, according to a statement issued by NATTA today.<\/p>\n<p>Established in 1966, UFTAA is an umbrella organisation of travel agencies worldwide.
