{"id":44097,"date":"2026-03-15T18:10:27","date_gmt":"2026-03-15T12:25:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=44097"},"modified":"2026-03-15T20:33:44","modified_gmt":"2026-03-15T14:48:44","slug":"home-minister-aryal-recommended-for-national-assembly-seat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/home-minister-aryal-recommended-for-national-assembly-seat\/","title":{"rendered":"Home Minister Aryal recommended as expert member of National Assembly"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Kathmandu, March 15: The government has recommended Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal as the member of the upper house of federal parliament, National Assembly (NA).<\/p>\n<p>The Cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister&#8217;s official residence, Baluwatar on Sunday decided to recommend Minister Aryal, who is originally from Gulmi district, to the President for appointing him as the NA member in a vacant post of the upper house.<br \/>\nAryal&#8217;s name has been proposed for a seat of an expert member in the NA.<\/p>\n<p>The 59-member NA, which serves as the permanent House, has a constitutional provision for three people to be appointed as members by the President at the recommendations of the Council of Ministers.<\/p>\n<p>As per the constitutional provision, the term of NA members is six year.
