The head of the Publicity Department expressed concern over the incidents of flag burning featuring the election symbol &#8216;Sun&#8217; in various locations, as well as the increasing hostility directed towards the party leadership.<\/p>\n<p>The party highlighted that since the announcement of the elections, there has been a troubling situation with thousands of prisoners and stolen weapons from security agencies still at large, which poses a risk of escalating criminal activities.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the UML claimed that there have been instances of inappropriate conduct and flag burning targeting its leadership, accompanied by slogans against the party in various areas, which they view as a deliberate attempt to incite electoral conflict.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu, Feb 21: The CPN (UML) has urged the government to ensure that the upcoming elections are conducted in a secure and fearless atmosphere.
