{"id":40914,"date":"2026-01-26T17:40:33","date_gmt":"2026-01-26T11:55:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=40914"},"modified":"2026-01-26T17:40:33","modified_gmt":"2026-01-26T11:55:33","slug":"board-requests-health-institutions-to-file-claims-meeting-criteria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/board-requests-health-institutions-to-file-claims-meeting-criteria\/","title":{"rendered":"Board requests health institutions to file claims meeting criteria"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Kathmandu, Jan 26: The Health Insurance Board has requested the health institutions to file claims in line with Board&#8217;s criteria for their service to the insured patients.<\/p>\n<p>The Board urged the health institutions to form a committee and review their claims before submission, reasoning that some health institutions had presented claims for health insurance services without meeting criteria, according to Board&#8217;s Information Officer, Bikesh Malla.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In view of the errors rife in the documents submitted to claim reimbursement for their health services under insurance scheme to public, we requested to form a committee to review the amount of claims before submission,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p>The committee can cross check the files and claims to made these reasonable.<br \/>\nMalla further informed that health institutions had submitted their claims worth Rs 100 million in a day to the Health Insurance Board.
