{"id":40686,"date":"2026-01-23T17:44:19","date_gmt":"2026-01-23T11:59:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=40686"},"modified":"2026-01-23T17:44:19","modified_gmt":"2026-01-23T11:59:19","slug":"three-ordinances-presented-in-national-assembly","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/three-ordinances-presented-in-national-assembly\/","title":{"rendered":"Three ordinances presented in National Assembly"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Kathmandu, Jan 23: Minister for Home Affairs Om Prakash Aryal presented three ordinances in the meeting of the National Assembly today.<\/p>\n<p>The ordinances tabled by the Home Minister include: &#8216;The Voters List Act, 2073 Amendment Ordinance, 2082&#8217;, &#8216;The House of Representatives Member Election (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2082&#8217; and &#8216;The Nepal Special Service Act (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 2082&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, Kamala Pant, Chairperson of the Committee on Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance, presented the &#8216;National Integrity Policy Study Report, 2082&#8217; in the National Assembly session.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, Tulasa Kumari Dahal, Chairperson of the Legislative Management Committee, presented the committee&#8217;s report on the &#8216;Tourism Bill, 2081&#8217; to the Upper House.<br \/>\nIn the meeting, Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal read out the letters received from the President&#8217;s office regarding the formation of the Council of Ministers and the assignment of their responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting passed a condolence motion on the demise of former ministers Rishikesh Gautam, Mohammad Aftab Alam, Amod Prasad Upadhyay, Homnath Dahal and former MP Krishna Kumari Shrestha.<\/p>\n<p>The next meeting of the National Assembly will be held on Tuesday, January 27 at 1:15pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu, Jan 23: Minister for Home Affairs Om Prakash Aryal presented three ordinances in the meeting of the National Assembly today.
