The marriage event held in the community was not tawdry but brief.<\/p>\n<p>The couples got married at the Santa Rampal&#8217;s Satlok Ashram of Belachapi of Mithila Municipality-2 in the district yesterday, marking the 627th Kabir Prakat Diwas.<\/p>\n<p>Invoking the deities and Saint Kabir&#8217;s sermons and hymns and reciting mantras, a common marriage ceremony for nearly two dozens of couple was conducted within 17 minutes, shared Ishwor Dutta Bhatta, devotee of Santa Rampal.<\/p>\n<p>Community marriage ceremonies are held occasionally in the locality which is aimed at fostering social amity and harmony as the marriage sans dowry system.
