The day is being observed in memory of Christ&#8217;s message of hope, love and salvation, according to Chairman of Nepal Christian Federation, CB Gahatraj. He added it is also known as the love day, peace day and liberation day.<\/p>\n<p>The Federation also began marking the Day with fanfare in Nepal since 2063BS.<br \/>\nA Christmas Festival-2025 is being organized with the participation of government representatives, dignitaries and human rights defenders in the federal capital, Kathmandu today.<\/p>\n<p>The government has given a public holiday today.
