{"id":38031,"date":"2025-12-20T13:50:30","date_gmt":"2025-12-20T08:05:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=38031"},"modified":"2025-12-20T13:50:30","modified_gmt":"2025-12-20T08:05:30","slug":"iranian-fm-slams-e3s-nuclear-stance-in-phone-call-with-british-counterpart","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/iranian-fm-slams-e3s-nuclear-stance-in-phone-call-with-british-counterpart\/","title":{"rendered":"Iranian FM slams E3&#8217;s nuclear stance in phone call with British counterpart"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Iran&#8217;s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi slammed the &#8220;irresponsible&#8221; approach adopted by France, Britain and Germany, collectively known as the E3, towards Iran&#8217;s nuclear issue during a phone call with his British counterpart Yvette Cooper.<\/p>\n<p>In the phone call on Friday, Araghchi pointed out that Iran &#8220;has never rejected a negotiation and dialogue that is based on respect for the Iranian nation&#8217;s legal rights and legitimate interests,&#8221; the Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.<br \/>\nHe added, however, that Iran would not accept a negotiation aimed at the unilateral imposition of demands.<\/p>\n<p>Cooper, for her part, underlined the need to resort to diplomacy to address the nuclear issue.<\/p>\n<p>The two top diplomats highlighted the necessity to continue consultations at different levels to improve mutual understanding.
