Minister Ghising said it during a programme organized by Nepal Infrastructures Journalists&#8217; Society here today.<br \/>\nHe argued that contractors were flouting the rules government set for the construction works, causing sheer loss to country.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Proper management of contract is imperative to improve national economy,&#8221; he said, adding that Nepal&#8217;s laws do not allow any construction work without contract.<br \/>\nThere is also a problem in the government side- delaying payment for long. &#8220;Rather than investment summit, we can hold contractors&#8217; summit to improve construction atmosphere,&#8221; he suggested.<\/p>\n<p>An infrastructure expert and former secretary, Arjun Jung Thapa, made a presentation on government policy on termination of contract and its impact.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lalitpur, Dec 9: Minister for Physical Infrastructures and Transport, Kulman Ghising, has said faulty contract has ruined economy and employment.
