{"id":37127,"date":"2025-12-08T09:57:02","date_gmt":"2025-12-08T04:12:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=37127"},"modified":"2025-12-08T09:57:02","modified_gmt":"2025-12-08T04:12:02","slug":"irrigation-facility-built-in-khajuwapatti","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/irrigation-facility-built-in-khajuwapatti\/","title":{"rendered":"Irrigation facility built in Khajuwapatti"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Kanchanpur, Dec 8: An irrigation facility was set up at Khajuwapatti in Shuklaphanta Municipality-1, Khanchanpur.<\/p>\n<p>The Dhangadhi-based Groundwater Irrigation Office of the Sudurpaschim Province Government supported Rs 5 million for the installation of a deep boring machine to provide irrigation facilities in all seasons in the farmlands there.<\/p>\n<p>Chairman of Shuklaphanta Municipality-1 Uttar Dev Bhatta said that the deep boring machine is enough to irrigate 60 bigha of land. Besides the installation of a boring machine, regular power supply, provision of valves and pipelines have been expanded to ensure an uninterrupted irrigation facility.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Some 200 farmers of this site are directly benefited from the irrigation facility. Irrigation facility has been accessible in all seasons,&#8221; Bhatta said.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to this, the farmers in Khjuwapatti had to struggle a lot to irrigate their farms and the agricultural yield was also limited due to drought in the dry season.<br \/>\nRatan Chaudhary, a local farmer, hoped to grow good quantity of crops, paddy and wheat with the facility of irrigation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kanchanpur, Dec 8: An irrigation facility was set up at Khajuwapatti in Shuklaphanta Municipality-1, Khanchanpur.
