The injured tourist has been waiting for rescue for two days.<\/p>\n<p>The tourist identified as 44-year-old Minuindra Lamsal from Tokha-6, Kathmandu was injured when a stone hit his head while he was returning from Samagaun, Chumanubri Rural Municipality-1.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajkumar Shrestha of the District Police Office said that there were difficulties in rescuing Lamsal as the helicopter could not fly due to adverse weather conditions.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There is a serious injury on the head, and he could not be brought to the district headquarters with people carrying him since there could be further risk,&#8221; DSP Shrestha said.<\/p>\n<p>According to health worker Chhiring Khamdo Lama, who is providing primary care to Lamsal, Lamsal is awaiting rescue while receiving first aid.<\/p>\n<p>Lamsal was injured when a stone fell from a cliff near Chumnubri\u20134 Bura and hit on his head while he was returning from Samagaun on Thursday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gorakha, Oct 31: A tourist has suffered injuries after he was hit by falling rock at Manaslu area.
