{"id":33761,"date":"2025-10-23T13:35:37","date_gmt":"2025-10-23T07:50:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=33761"},"modified":"2025-10-23T13:35:37","modified_gmt":"2025-10-23T07:50:37","slug":"president-paudel-receives-tihar-tika-from-his-two-sisters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/president-paudel-receives-tihar-tika-from-his-two-sisters\/","title":{"rendered":"President Paudel receives Tihar &#8216;tika&#8217; from his two sisters"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Kathmandu, Oct 23: President Ramchandra Paudel has received this year&#8217;s Tihar tika from his younger sisters Sharada Pandit and Chanda Ojha at the auspicious hour of 11:39 am at the President House, Shital Niwas today, the President&#8217;s Private Secretariat stated.<\/p>\n<p>The Nepal Calendar Determination Committee had set 11.39 am as the auspicious time for this year&#8217;s Bhai Tika today.<\/p>\n<p>The Committee has stated that even though the best time for the Bhai Tika rituals has been decided, the rituals of giving and receiving &#8216;tika&#8217; can be conducted throughout the day.<\/p>\n<p>The Bhai Tika ritual involves sisters applying the &#8216;five-colour-tika&#8217; on the forehead of their brothers and the brothers reciprocating to their sisters.
