{"id":33147,"date":"2025-10-14T16:04:12","date_gmt":"2025-10-14T10:19:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=33147"},"modified":"2025-10-14T16:04:12","modified_gmt":"2025-10-14T10:19:12","slug":"nacs-attention-drawn-over-kathmandu-guangzhou-flight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/nacs-attention-drawn-over-kathmandu-guangzhou-flight\/","title":{"rendered":"NAC&#8217;s attention drawn over Kathmandu &#8211; Guangzhou flight"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Kathmandu, Oct 14: The Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has said its attention has been drawn towards the news published in various media that its Kathmandu-Guangzhou flight scheduled for October 19 has been cancelled due to less number of passengers.<\/p>\n<p>Corporation&#8217;s spokesperson Subas Dangi in a statement he issued on Monday stated that the Kathmandu-Guangzhou flight on 19 October was cancelled due to internal reasons.<\/p>\n<p>He said alternative arrangements have been made for passengers who were scheduled to travel to Guangzhou on that date.<br \/>\nAccording to NAC, the national flag-carrier, 68 tickets have been sold for the October 16 flight on the Kathmandu\u2013Guangzhou\u2013Kathmandu sector, while 41 passengers have booked the return flight on October 17 from Guangzhou to Kathmandu.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, 93 tickets have already been sold for the October 23 Kathmandu\u2013Guangzhou flight, and 20 tickets for the return flight on October 24.<\/p>\n<p>The Kathmandu\u2013Guangzhou route is a newly launched international destination for NAC and is still in the process of being fully promoted, it is said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu, Oct 14: The Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has said its attention has been drawn towards the news published in various media that its Kathmandu-Guangzhou flight scheduled for October 19 has been cancelled due to less number of passengers.
