{"id":31408,"date":"2025-09-18T15:06:16","date_gmt":"2025-09-18T09:21:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=31408"},"modified":"2025-09-18T15:06:16","modified_gmt":"2025-09-18T09:21:16","slug":"janamat-partys-six-office-bearers-quit-party-en-masse","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/janamat-partys-six-office-bearers-quit-party-en-masse\/","title":{"rendered":"Janamat Party&#8217;s six office-bearers quit party en masse"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Kathmandu, Sept 18: Six office-bearers of the Janamat Party including Senior Vice-Chair Abdul Khan have resigned en masse, citing their demand for the leadership transformation remains unmet.<br \/>\nParty central spokesperson Dr Sharad Singh Yadav, central coordinator Kumar Yadav, CK Singh, senior province in-charge (Sudurpaschim) Rajaram Chaudhary and central member Bikram Bahadur Bam are those who resigned collectively along with Khan.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, the group had issued an ultimatum demanding the voluntary resignation of party Chair Dr Chandra Kant Raut and Dr Jaya Kant Raut from the Organisational Department within 24 hours.<br \/>\nAccording to spokesperson Yadav, the resigning leaders have not only stepped down from their respective positions but have also relinquished their general membership in the party.<\/p>\n<p>In their resignation letter, the leaders stated that, given the country\u2019s worsening political situation and the public sentiments, they had urged a change in leadership.
