{"id":29390,"date":"2025-08-21T21:02:43","date_gmt":"2025-08-21T15:17:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=29390"},"modified":"2025-08-21T21:02:43","modified_gmt":"2025-08-21T15:17:43","slug":"pabson-n-pabsan-demand-correction-on-school-education-bill","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/pabson-n-pabsan-demand-correction-on-school-education-bill\/","title":{"rendered":"PABSON, N-PABSAN demand correction on School Education Bill"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Kathmandu, Aug 21: School operators have demanded correction on some provisions of the School Education Act.<\/p>\n<p>At a demonstration organised by Private and Boarding Schools&#8217; Organisation Nepal (PABSON) and National Private and Boarding Schools&#8217; Association Nepal (N-PABSAN) at Maitighar Mandala on Thursday, the participants had carried ply cards reading &#8216; Private school education the first choice of parents&#8217;, &#8216;contribution of private school, building strong economy&#8217;, &#8216;Why private school should always have to face discrimination&#8217; among others.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Removing &#8216;Full scholarship&#8217; word from the bill, removing the provision of making schools being operated after their registration as per company act as &#8216;non-profitable&#8217; are the demands of PABSON and N-PABSAN.<\/p>\n<p>The private school operators demand that the concerned school should have authority for scholarship distribution and an arrangement should be made to provide scholarship by forming a transparent committee.<\/p>\n<p>The Education, Science and Technology Committee under the House of Representatives has passed the School Education Bill on Thursday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu, Aug 21: School operators have demanded correction on some provisions of the School Education Act.
