{"id":29366,"date":"2025-08-21T10:51:55","date_gmt":"2025-08-21T05:06:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=29366"},"modified":"2025-08-21T10:51:55","modified_gmt":"2025-08-21T05:06:55","slug":"tourism-department-to-ensure-it-friendly-service-delivery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/tourism-department-to-ensure-it-friendly-service-delivery\/","title":{"rendered":"Tourism Department to ensure IT-friendly service delivery"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Kathmandu, Aug 21: The Department of Tourism has worked to ensure a well-managed and technology-friendly service delivery.<\/p>\n<p>The Department has prioritized procedural simplification, system reforms and technological regulations in its work execution.<\/p>\n<p>As stated in a recently published annual report of the Department, it has set goals for a business-friendly tourism governance while establishing this sector as an investment-friendly entity and technology-friendly.<\/p>\n<p>The international practices would be integrated into the national system while prioritizing and expanding the tourism activities.<\/p>\n<p>Director General of the Department, Dr Narayan Prasad Regmi, said that efforts were initiated to make the Department&#8217;s performance simplified, accessible and business-friendly.<\/p>\n<p>He added that policy-level reforms were also on the cards.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Regmi was of the view that enhanced activities in the tourism sector would contribute to the creation of employment and self-employment while resulting in quality tourism and a better hospitality industry.<\/p>\n<p>Development of tourist infrastructures, quality hospitality service management, promotion of adventure and mountaineering tourism, and management of mountaineering are also being advanced with additional planning, Dr Regmi added<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kathmandu, Aug 21: The Department of Tourism has worked to ensure a well-managed and technology-friendly service delivery.
