The fair is organized in a bid to promote and expand cooperation in the sector of trade, science and technology, energy, education, health and culture.<\/p>\n<p>There are 17 pavilions of some 120 Nepali businesspersons. The Nepali businesspersons have kept handicraft items, Buddha idols, tea and coffee, among others.<\/p>\n<p>The event kicked off under the slogan of &#8216;solidarity and coordination for common development.<\/p>\n<p>In the inaugural session, CCP standing committee member, Wing Ming, Governor of Yunnan Province, Wang Yugo, and other speakers underlined the need of cooperation among the people in south and south-east Asia for peace and prosperity.<\/p>\n<p>On the occasion, Nepali Ambassador to China, Krishna Prasad Oli, also said the south and south-east Asia which is rich in natural and human resources, could be further developed through collaboration and cooperation in the sectors of environment conservation, infrastructure, and economic reforms.<\/p>\n<p>He made aware the participants that Nepal had drawn the world&#8217;s attention by organizing the Sagarmatha Sambaad. &#8220;Nepal-China relations are historic and intimate, which would be further strengthened through special programmes on the occasion of the 70 years of diplomatic ties,&#8221; Oli added.<\/p>\n<p>Pashmina entrepreneur of Thamel, Kathmandu, Janak Raj Pande, shared the number of Nepali stalls was raised by 40 compared to the last year.
