{"id":24694,"date":"2025-06-16T11:19:46","date_gmt":"2025-06-16T05:34:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/?p=24694"},"modified":"2025-06-16T11:19:46","modified_gmt":"2025-06-16T05:34:46","slug":"dhorpatan-connected-to-road-network","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nepalsamaj.com\/en\/dhorpatan-connected-to-road-network\/","title":{"rendered":"Dhorpatan connected to road network"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Myagdi, June 16: A track of road connecting Myagdi and Dhorpatan of Baglung has been opened.<\/p>\n<p>The road is considered an alternative route to the Baglung section along the Mid Hill Highway and a &#8216;lifeline&#8217; of Mangala, Malika, and Dhawalagiri municipalities in Myagdi.<br \/>\nThe Beni-Darwang-Muna-Jaljala-Dhorpatan road is a short route connecting Dhorpatan with eastern Rukum from Kathmandu and Pokhara via Benighat.<\/p>\n<p>With the federal government budget of Rs 50 million, the Road Division Office in Baglung has constructed the track of the road from Dhawalagiri-2, Mereni to Jaljala in Dhorpatan, informed Chairperson of Dhawalagiri Rural Municipality, Prem Prasad Pun.<br \/>\n&#8216;About nine kilometers of road track has been constructed from the forest above Mereni towards Jaljala. A 10-km dirt road had already connected from Dhorpatan to Jaljala,&#8217; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Although the dozer has reached Jaljala, transportation can only start after the leveling work is completed.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Construction of the road had started from Beni some 27 years ago. A track having a length of around 64 kilometers from Benighat to Jaljala through Muna-Khoriya-Mareni has been opened.<\/p>\n<p>It is stated that construction of the road from Benighat to Takshera in the eastern Rukum would shorten the distance by 70 kilometers compared to the Baglung section of the Mid-Hill Highway.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Myagdi, June 16: A track of road connecting Myagdi and Dhorpatan of Baglung has been opened.
