The Office was given a target of Rs 70.44 billion for revenue collection during the period.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Customs Administrator Dipak Lamichhane said that the Office faced difficulties to meet the target in revenue collection because of more public holidays in the month of Asoj and Kartik.<br \/>\nThe Office said that 70 percent of the revenue in Birgunj is received from the petroleum products, industrial raw materials and vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>The Office collected Rs 12.16 billion in Sawan, Rs 13.23 billion in Bhadra, Rs 13.47 billion Asoj and Rs 11.4 billion in the month of Kartik.<\/p>\n<p>The Birgunj Customs Office had collected Rs 49.18 billion in revenue in the first four months of the last fiscal year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Birgunj, Dec. 6: The Birgunj Customs Office has collected Rs 49.92 billion in revenue in the first four months of the current fiscal year.
