Arghakhanchi, Sept 3: Two people have died after being swept away by the Chhare river while taking a bath in the spring flowing from the river in Dhawa, Sitganga Municipality-14.
The incident took place this afternoon where 28-year-old Umesh Paudel and 23-year-old Kishore Raskoti, residents of Banganga Municipality-2, Kapilvastu District, were drowned, said Chief of District Police Office, Arghakhanchi Pratit Singh Rathore said
Their bodies were later found in the river downstream.
