Arghakhanchi, Oct 16: Two persons died and two others were seriously injured in a road accident at Saurekhola of Chhatradev rural municipality-1 in the district.
According to the District Police Office, Tara Belbase, 21, of Panini rural municipality-5 in Arghakhanchi and Suman Sunar, 35, of Chhatrakot rural municipality-6 in Gulmi died when two motorcycles they were riding collided with each other on Wednesday evening.
The pillion riders — Dipa Belbase, 18, of Arghakhanchi and Suraj Sunar, 44, of Gulmi – were critically injured in the accident, said Police Inspector Jhalak Prasad Sharma.
The injured ones have been referred to Palpa for further treatment and police have started investigation into the incident.
