Kathmandu, March 25: Ambassador of Thailand to Nepal, Suwapong Sirisorn, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today.
Ambassador Sirisorn called on Prime Minister Oli before the first official visit of Nepal’s Prime Minister to Thailand at the friendly invitation of Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra.
A delegation led by Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to leave for Bangkok on April 1 for the official visit to Thailand and the 6th Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) Summit to be held on April 4.
Also present on the occasion were PM’s Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
