Kathmandu, March 21: Nepali Congress (NC) leader and former foreign affairs minister Sujata Koirala has stressed on Nepal’s friendly relations with the neighbouring countries.
At a programme organized by the GP Koirala Foundation Bhaktapur chapter on the 15th Memorial Day of late leader Girija Prasad Koirala, she suggested that the government should follow the suit of the balanced foreign policy.
She said there will not instability in the country if the relations with the neighbouring countries were maintained.
“We have to maintain equal relations with other countries too. We should not go for and against of any,” Koirala added. She was of the view that Nepal should move ahead by adopting the principle of Panchasheel.
