Dhulikhel (Kavrepalanchok), Feb 7: CPN (Maoist Centre) chair and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has stated that the socialist revolution has begun in the country.
During a programme organized today in Dhulikhel by the Kavrepalanchok District Coordination Committee, he mentioned that the beginning of the socialist movement coincided with his initiative of good governance, social justice, and prosperity during his premiership earlier.’
He said, “I was successful in imparting a crucial message by working simply towards solving the economic crisis and prosperity.” Chair Dahal expressed the confidence that the work done during his 18 months office would gradually bring about change in the lives of the people.
He further stated that his goal now is to lead the country towards socialism by bringing a majority in 2084 general election.
The former PM mentioned that the party is initiating a socialist revolution through a competitive way.
Chair Dahal mentioned that he is energized from the public wave during his visit in various parts of the country of late.
He also shared that the postal road, the east-west highway, the mid-hill highway, and the Himalayan campaign will commence soon.
Addressing the same event party’s vice president and spokesperson Agni Prasad Sapkota urged to focus on idea based politics.
