Kathmandu, March 6: Shishir Khanal of the Rastriya Swatantra Party has been elected to the House of Representatives from Kathmandu Constituency No. 6, securing a decisive 27,719 votes.
His nearest competitor, Krishna Baniya Kshetri of the Nepali Congress, received 6,647 votes, while Aman Kumar Maske of the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) garnered 4,373 votes, according to election officials.
Khanal, who previously won from the same constituency, strengthened his foothold, demonstrating continued support from voters in Kathmandu-6.
