RSP’s Bina Gurung Wins Kaski-3 Seat

Gandaki, March 7: Bina Gurung of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected to the House of Representatives from Kaski Constituency No. 3.

According to the Office of the Chief Election Officer in Kaski, Gurung secured 37,750 votes in the election held on Thursday. Nepali Congress candidate Manoj Gurung came second with 12,780 votes, while CPN-UML’s Damodar Bairagi finished third with 7,906 votes.

Other candidates included Gopal Giri of the Nepal Communist Party, who received 1,456 votes, Arjun Prasad Khanal of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party with 1,406 votes, Hitkaji Gurung of the Shram Sanskriti Party with 586 votes, and Tark Bahadur Gurung of the Ujyalo Nepal Party with 462 votes.

Out of 107,560 registered voters in the constituency, 65,407 votes were cast. Gurung also serves as the Gandaki Province treasurer of the Rastriya Swatantra Party.
