RPP Vice President Rabindra Mishra Released on Bail

Kathmandu, June 17 :  Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Vice President Rabindra Mishra has been released from custody after posting a bail of Rs 300,000.

Mishra, who had been named a defendant in connection with the March 28 (Chaitra 15) incident at Tinkune, appeared before the Kathmandu District Court on Tuesday morning. Following his appearance, the court recorded his statement and held a bail hearing the same day.

The bench of Judge Tara Devi Maharjan subsequently ordered his release upon payment of bail. Mishra faced multiple charges, including offenses against the state, criminal disturbance, organized crime, and violations under the Integrated Offense Act.

This follows a similar decision by the court on Monday, when RPP General Secretary Dhawal Shamsher Rana was also released on bail of Rs 300,000.
