Agency, September 24: Real Madrid continued their perfect start to the Spanish La Liga season with another dominant performance, defeating Levante 4–1 on Tuesday night to secure their sixth straight victory.
The match, played in Valencia, saw Kylian Mbappé score twice, while Franco Mastantuono and Vinícius Júnior added one goal each for Madrid. Levante’s only reply came from Eta Eyoung.
Madrid struck first in the 28th minute when Vinícius converted a pass from Federico Valverde. Ten minutes later, Mastantuno doubled the lead with a precise finish from Vinícius’s assist.
Levante pulled one back in the 54th minute through Eyong, giving the hosts some hope. But Madrid quickly reasserted control: Mbappé netted in the 64th minute to make it 3–1, then scored again just two minutes later, finishing off a clever pass from Arda Güler.
Despite both sides pushing forward, no further goals were scored, sealing a comfortable 4–1 victory for the Spanish giants.
With the win, Real Madrid remain top of the table with 18 points from six matches. Levante, by contrast, have collected only four points from the same number of games and sit in 16th place.
