PSG Crushes Inter 5–0 to Win First-Ever Champions League Title

Agency, June 1: French giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have made history by winning their first-ever UEFA Champions League title. In a dominant display on Saturday night, PSG thrashed Italian side Inter Milan 5–0 in the final, held at the Allianz Arena.

PSG’s attacking brilliance was on full display, with Désiré Doué netting twice, while Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Senny Mayulu added one goal each.

Hakimi opened the scoring in the 12th minute, giving PSG an early lead. Doué doubled the advantage in the 20th minute, ensuring a comfortable 2–0 cushion going into halftime. PSG continued their relentless form in the second half, with Doué scoring his second goal in the 63rd minute.

Kvaratskhelia made it 4–0 in the 73rd minute, and Mayulu capped off the night with a fifth goal in the 86th minute, sealing a memorable and emphatic victory.

With this triumph, PSG has finally lifted the Champions League trophy, a dream that had eluded them for years. They previously came close in the 2019/20 season but were narrowly defeated 1–0 by Bayern Munich in the final.

For Inter Milan, it was another heartbreak, marking their second loss in a Champions League final within the past three years.
