Kathmandu, Sept 9: President Ram Chandra Paudel has appealed to protesters and all concerned parties to support efforts toward a peaceful resolution of the current crisis.
Stating that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s resignation has already been accepted, President Paudel expressed confidence that all sides would cooperate with a sense of responsibility toward the nation, the people, and democracy.
He further noted that in a democratic system, citizens’ demands — including those raised by representatives of Generation Z — can be addressed through dialogue and negotiation. Urging restraint, the president called on all parties to come to the negotiating table.
