Kathmandu, April 22: CPN (Unified Socialist) senior leader and former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal has said that efforts are ongoing in the country to polarize the left forces for resolving political, economic, social and cultural crises in the country.
At a programme organized here Tuesday on 76th establishment day of Nepal Communist Party, he said all splinters of the communist forces should be united for safeguarding nationality, people’s livelihood and ensure social transformation.
Saying that people’s dream of prosperity was not fulfilled due to self-centric psychology of the major political parties, Khanal argued that the major political parties should take the responsibility for public frustration rising in the recent days.
Likewise, general secretary of CPN (Unified Socialist) Ghanshyam Bhusal stated that brain drain was rising due to unemployment and poor academic progress in the country and added for implementing the progressive and socialist aspects of the constitution.
He also underscored the need for unity among leftists, progressive, nationalist and democratic forces against the regressive forces.
