PHC receives seven complaints against proposed SC justices

Kathmandu, June 26: The Parliamentary Hearing Committee (PHC) has received five complaints against three proposed justices of the Supreme Court (SC) and two other complaints were received regarding the procedural issues of hearing process.

Committee President Ishwori Devi Neupane shared that two complaints were filed against Senior Advocate Meghraj Pokharel, two against Shreekant Poudel, Chief Judge of High Court, Janakpur, and one against Shanti Singh Thapa, Chief Judge of High Court Dipayal.

The Committee will hold discussions with complainants on Friday and conduct hearing on June 29. The Committee had called the complainants in today’s meeting.
