NSU’s Joshi elected FSU president in Central Campus, Kirtipur

Kirtipur, March 31: Deepak Raj Joshi of the Nepal Students’ Union (NSU) has won the Free Student Union election held at the Kirtipur-based Central campus of the Tribhuvan University.

Out of 3,108 votes cast, Joshi received 789 votes. His closest rival Siddhant Bhatta of All Nepal National Free Student Union (ANNFSU) got 781 votes.

Similarly, Prabin Dahal of All Nepal National Independent Student Union (ANNISU), close to the CPN (Maoist Centre), got 727 votes while an independent candidate Ujjwal Khadka garnered 515 votes.

Candidates of ANNFSU got victory in all posts except the post of President.
